LIASTUDIOS is a multidisciplinary design studio. 

Founded in 2019, the brand has mainly focused on fashion design and production but Lia has worked in styling, art direction, photography, film, and event organization. 

Right before Lia started her final BA project at Universidad Veritas, Costa Rica, the first collection (0.0) was launched and was made up of 18 unique pieces made out of upcycled materials. 

Lia wanted to create art that helped people coexist with their surroundings. We have been destroying the planet with the brands that we're supporting, not knowing that they're not doing a good job at protecting the environment.

The brand cares for self-expression, quality, transparency, and respect; but most of all, we want to have fun.  

The brand has had the chance to be located in several studios but is constantly moving, as well as the pop-up shops hosted between 2019 and 2021, all in Costa Rica.

In 2022 the brand stopped producing commercial collections and focused on exploring conceptual pathways to approach sustainability in the fashion industry. 

Today LIASTUDIOS is a multidisciplinary platform working in areas such as fashion design, sustainability in the fashion industry, fashion styling, graphic design visual arts, and independent printed publications.
